About Agadir Workshops
Learning Moroccan craft by making it with our hands
Agadir Workshops offers hands-on cultural experiences in Agadir, where visitors learn Moroccan cooking, pottery, argan oil production, and leatherwork directly from the people who practice these traditions. We began with a simple belief: the best way to understand a culture is to make something with it.
Each session is led by practicing artisans and culinary guides from the Agadir region, who share the techniques, ingredients, and stories behind their work.
Our approach
Learn, create, and discover the region's traditions
Our workshops are built around participation. In the cooking class, guests work with local ingredients and learn classic Moroccan dishes by preparing them together. In the pottery session, you shape clay the way local artisans do, and in the argan workshop you follow the journey from the argan tree to the finished oil.
The shoemaker workshop introduces traditional leatherworking and handmade shoe-making techniques, passed down through practice. Whether you travel alone, as a couple, with family, or with friends, each experience is a way to understand Agadir-region know-how beyond sightseeing.
Our principles
How every session is run
A few commitments shape the way we host each workshop.
Small groups
Intimate sessions
We keep groups small so every guest has space to work, ask questions, and get hands-on guidance from the artisan leading the session.
Authentic tools
Traditional methods
Our potters, leatherworkers, and cooks use the tools and techniques of their trades, so you learn the craft as it is practiced today.
Local sourcing
Ingredients from the region
Food, argan, and clay come from Agadir-region producers wherever possible, keeping each experience rooted in local materials.
